Euro-BioImaging is providing a funding opportunity for researchers outside of Europe to perform microscopy work (as well as other imaging techniques) within the Euro-BioImaging network. Awardees will receive up to €5,000 to cover expenses related to travel, accommodation, research reagents, and user fees (microscope time). All proposals will be assessed on scientific merit. The deadline for this application is 15 December 2021.

Registration is open for the 3rd Annual Workshop on Advanced Microscopy and Biophotonics hosted by Institut Pasteur de Montevideo. This workshop is dedicated to disseminating cutting-edge technology and advanced methods in fluorescence microscopy and biophotonics. Topics include super-resolution, non-linear microscopy, deep tissue imaging, light-sheet microscopy and others. Registration for online participation closes on 31 October.

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is soliciting proposals for our new Expanding Global Access to Bioimaging Request For Applications (RFA). This RFA aims to broaden access to imaging expertise, technologies, and capacity building for international researchers and organizations. It is intended to support imaging core facilities and network organizations, defined as nonprofit organizations that bring together imaging scientists to collaborate, share resources and expertise, and build capacity regionally.
